The Eight Directions at a Glance

Stand at the center of the plot facing North when you study a plan. Mark magnetic North carefully with a reliable compass, then map rooms onto the eight zones.

• North: opportunity, career, and money movement.
• North-East: purity, water, prayer, and morning light.
• East: growth, health, and sunrise energy.
• South-East: fire, kitchen, and electrical intensity.
• South: strength and controlled weight.
• South-West: stability, master bedroom, and leadership.

• Verify true North on site; do not guess from roads alone.
• Prefer North or East facing main doors when the plot allows.
• Never place toilets or garbage in the North-East.
• Keep South and West walls thicker or heavier than North and East when possible.
